April 23, 2025—CFISD boys’ and girls’ soccer coaches released the All-District 16-6A teams following the conclusion of each team’s season.

On the girls’ side, Cypress Ranch High School senior Kamrynn Davis was named Most Valuable Player. Fellow Cypress Ranch teammate junior Sophia Sandoval was named Utility Player of the Year. Bridgeland High School senior Madeline Benker was named Offensive Player of the Year and Bridgeland junior Sydney Robinett was named Goalkeeper of the Year. Cypress Woods High School junior Whitney Foster and Cypress Lakes High School senior Jessica Valladares were named Co-Midfielder of the Year. Cypress Woods junior Camila Carrasco was named Defensive Player of the Year while fellow Cypress Woods teammate freshman Kianna Oriandi-Rodriguez was named Newcomer of the Year. Cypress Lakes Head Coach Casey Blades was named Coach of the Year.

On the boys’ side, Cypress Springs High School senior Christopher Cruz was named Most Valuable Player. Langham Creek High School sophomore Matthew Arasin was named Goalkeeper of the Year. Cypress Lakes sophomore Ruben Andrade was named Offensive Player of the Year. Bridgeland senior Kaeson Essler and Cypress Springs senior Greg Morales were named Co-Defensive Player of the Year. Bridgeland senior Jared Cooper was named Midfielder of the Year while fellow Bridgeland teammate sophomore Patrick McHugh was named Newcomer of the Year. Langham Creek Head Coach Joel Garcia was named Coach of the Year.
