CFISD theatre arts students excel at Texas Thespian Festival
CFISD students from 11 high schools earned superior ratings at the 2024 Texas Thespians Festival, held Nov. 15-18 in Corpus Christi and Nov. 20-23 in Grapevine. More than 140 CFISD students qualified for the International Thespian Festival, sponsored by the Educational Theatre Association (EdTA), scheduled for June 22-27 at Indiana University—Bloomington.
Dec. 17, 2024—More than 140 CFISD high school theatre arts students received superior ratings at the 2024 Texas Thespian Festival, held Nov. 15-18 in Corpus Christi and Nov. 20-23 in Grapevine.
Students receiving a superior rating qualified for the national competition, sponsored by the Educational Theatre Association (EdTA), scheduled for June 22-27 at Indiana University—Bloomington.

Cypress Woods High School senior Riley Wooten received a $1,000 scholarship from Texas Thespians.
The Bridgeland High School musical production, Anastasia, was selected to be a mainstage performance at the Corpus Christi State Festival. The production was honored with the following Mainstage Awards:
