
The Cypress Springs High School girls’ basketball team defeated Magnolia, 82-17, to become bi-district champions. The Panthers advance to play Spring Westfield at 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 19 at Dekaney High School.
Feb. 19, 2026—The Cypress Creek, Cypress Falls, Cypress Lakes, Cypress Springs, Jersey Village and Langham Creek high school girls’ basketball teams advanced past the bi-district round of the UIL Class 6A playoffs and move on to the area round, while Cypress Woods High School concluded its season.
Cypress Creek defeated Houston Lamar, 57-34. The Cougars advance to play Katy Seven Lakes at 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 20 at Cypress Park High School (7425 Westgreen Blvd).
Cypress Falls defeated Houston Westside, 77-59. The Golden Eagles advance to face Alief Taylor at 6 p.m. on Feb. 20 at Katy Tompkins High School (4400 Falcon Landing Blvd).
Cypress Lakes defeated Klein Oak, 56-48. The Spartans advance to meet The Woodlands at 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 20 at Waller High School (31213 Waller Spring Creek Road).
Cypress Springs defeated Magnolia, 82-17. The Panthers advance to play Spring Westfield at 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 19 at Dekaney High School (22351 Imperial Valley Drive).
Jersey Village defeated Houston Bellaire, 52-49. The Falcons advance to face Fulshear at 6 p.m. on Feb. 19 at Cypress Park High School.
Langham Creek defeated Tomball, 46-39. The Lobos advance to meet Conroe Grand Oaks at 6 p.m. on Feb. 20 at Waller High School.
Tickets for Cypress Springs, Langham Creek, Cypress Lakes and Cypress Falls are $6 each for adults and students and are sold online.
Tickets for Jersey Village and Cypress Creek are $5.50 each for adults and students and are sold online.
Cypress Woods was defeated by Klein Collins, 54-26. The Wildcats were District 16-6A’s fourth seed and finished the season as bi-district finalists.
