Spring Finals are swiftly approaching.
Fines and Fees
In order for your student to be eligible to exempt any final exams, all required fees and fines accumulated through April 25 must be paid in School Cash.
- Senior Fees/Fines must be paid by end of day May 13 to be eligible to exempt.
- Senior Fees not paid by May 13, or accumulated after April 25, must be paid by end of day on 5/29 or their diploma will be pulled (this includes turning in Chromebooks)
- Grades 9 – 11 fees/fines must have paid by Sunday, May 18.
If these are not taken care of, students will not be eligible for exemptions.

Exemptions
In CFISD, Semester Exam Exemptions are offered as attendance and behavior incentives for students. To qualify for an exam exemption in a class/course, a student must have per semester:
- five or less absences;
- three or less tardies;
- an average of 75 or higher for the semester;
- an E, S or I in conduct;
- no OSS, ALC or JJAEP Placement; and
- no fees or fines.
Provided grade, behavior and attendance requirements are met, students may qualify for the following:
- 9th Grade – Exemption from 1 Spring final
- 10th grade – Exemption from 2 Spring Finals
- 11th Grade – Exemption from 3 Spring Finals
- 12th grade – Exemption from 7 Spring Finals
